Employment Opportunities:
The Washington College Department of Business Management currently seeks candidates for two full-time tenure-track Assistant Professor positions in Marketing starting in August 2015. One position will be focused on marketing, advertising, and other core marketing topics; the second position will be focused on social media marketing. Successful candidates will possess a passion for teaching undergraduate students in a liberal-arts environment, and enjoy fostering critical thinking, effective communication and moral courage by means of student engagement both in the classroom and beyond.

Employees and their families have the opportunity to participate in a number of educational programs:
• Tuition Waiver for Employees: Benefit-eligible employees may take up to two courses per semester
• Tuition Waiver for Dependents: After one year of employment, spouses and dependents of benefit-eligible employees may take courses

Career Development:
Top performing colleges rely on top-performing employees. After one year of full-time employment, Washington College will assist in paying educational costs for approved outside educational courses for full-time employees through our Educational Assistance Program. In addition, the college supports staff development through on-campus workshops and trainings, and pays for approved off-campus trainings and conferences. Faculty scholarship and development is supported through Faculty Enhancement grants, fellowships and sabbaticals.
